Parrot people in Paraguay, like parrot enthusiasts everywhere, engage in work that might not get much recognition, but will bring fruition as they carry through steadily into the future. Thanks to them all!
Conservationists are the primary force that drives conservation. They work tirelessly year after year, often against overwhelming odds. Their steadfastness opens up the way for the shift where suddenly it seems as if the people and parrots have a chance. You are in that distinguished body, and so are these great people in Honduras.
The future unfolds in ways we cannot predict, however if the heart is open to love of the feathered kind, a path, at least in retrospect, becomes clear: to journey home. I journeyed to Paraguay, to visit the home of so many parrots I have loved.
