It is often late evening before they finally have to a chance to\u00a0<em>sit down<\/em>\u00a0and start returning messages that have accumulated through the day. Bird owners have to wait their turn. I had just finished my lunch, and was sitting at the front desk. Indeed, I often refuse to work with a parrot with a so-called &#8220;behavior problem&#8221; until\u00a0<em>after<\/em>the owner has had the animal thoroughly checked out.
