Katrina recibi\u00f3 su licenciatura en Tecnolog\u00eda Veterinaria en el 2005. Obtuvo su t\u00edtulo de T\u00e9cnica Veterinaria Especialista (VTS) en Anestesia en el 2009 y es una de los menos de 200 t\u00e9cnicos en todo el mundo que tienen esa designaci\u00f3n. Actualmente, Katrina es la t\u00e9cnica principal del <a href=\"https:\/\/uwveterinarycare.wisc.edu\/support-services\/anesthesia\/\" target=\"_blank\">Departamento de Anestesia y Manejo del Dolor<\/a> en la Escuela de Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad de Wisconsin-Madison. Tambi\u00e9n es la Directora del Programa de Pasant\u00edas de T\u00e9cnicos Veterinarios en UW-Madison. Katrina est\u00e1 involucrada en la educaci\u00f3n de todos los miembros de la comunidad veterinaria y ha escrito numerosos art\u00edculos y cap\u00edtulos de libros de texto. Ha realizado presentaciones en m\u00e1s de 40 seminarios de educaci\u00f3n continua a nivel internacional.
