\"Dr.Dr. Sue Carstairs<\/strong> is the Executive and Medical Director of the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre<\/a> (OTCC) (formerly the Kawartha Turtle Trauma Center) in Peterborough, Ontario. Dr. Carstairs received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College. She is an authorized wildlife custodian with over 20 years of experience in wildlife medicine, and she joined the OTCC team in 2009. Sue is also a Professor at Seneca College where she teaches Exotics and Wildlife, and also runs a summer Wildlife Medicine and Field Studies course, for veterinary technicians and veterinarians. Previously, Sue served as a wildlife veterinarian at Earth Rangers Wildlife Hospital and Toronto Wildlife Centre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
