Product Description

Add a little spice to your bird’s life with El Paso Nutri-Berries! They are made with taste-grabbing ingredients like red and green bell peppers and seasoned with cayenne pepper and other exotic spices that your bird is sure to go wild over! El Paso Nutri-Berries are a nutritionally complete food designed to cater to your bird’s foraging instincts and excite his taste buds. We believe your bird’s food can be both exciting and nutritious. Your feathered friend will love holding, pulling, and tearing at each berrie.

Instead of grinding down the ingredients into a pelleted form, the ingredients in El Paso Nutri-Berries are left mostly whole to give your bird zesty flavors and textures pelleted diets lack. And, unlike vitamin- and mineral-fortified seed mixes that lose their health benefits once the bird cracks open the seed, Nutri-Berries are made with hulled seeds and grains. Each berrie is then coated with essential vitamins and minerals to ensure that your bird receives balanced nutrition in each bite.

My Macaw absolutely loves Nutri-Berries!!
I have been feeding her Nutri-Berries for about 25 years. They are a part of her daily treats. Her favorites are the Tropical Fruit and El Paso. My only wish was that the El Paso was available in the larger size. (She has not complained about it!!

Rowdy, my African Grey.
Rowdy is 32 years old. Has been in my wife's family since 6 months old. He loves his Lafeber senior berries and ElPaso berries forever. Used to like the pellets but has slowed down on them. I have had him 9 years now. I never run out of Nutri-berries. He's a mean one except for me. Ken

My budgies will get a flavor of the day nutriberries for breakfast and this is the one they like the best. Nothing is left after they wake up! I am hoping they bring back the strawberry ones someday soon but I can only hope. Thanks

My Maximillian Pionus was a Craigslist rescue and had been fed an extremely poor diet for years. When she came to live with me she was afraid of new food, including all pellets and all fresh veggies and fruits. It only took a month or so for her to accept Classic NutriBerries so those quickly became the mainstay of her diet. She still will not eat, touch, or even approach most fresh veggies and fruits. So now I am beginning to introduce other NutriBerrie flavors to see if she will eat a bit more variety and decided to start with the El Paso. She had no problem accepting the El Paso NutriBerries with the dried pepper bits and actually eats them!! This from a bird that believes any type of pepper, raw or cooked, is probably poison. I suspect that she’s not entirely certain about the new and different NutriBerrie because she takes a bite or two from the El Paso, eats a Classic, takes another bite of El Paso then goes back to the Classic, but she actually - eventually - eats the El Paso! This is a huge deal. My avian vet says she’s in perfect health and her feathers are gorgeous which is amazing since she originally had liver issues. I attribute this healing to the NutriBerrie diet she’s been on for the past several years. So I am happy to have another flavor to supplement her beloved Classic Berries and will introduce other new-to-her flavors slowly over the upcoming 12 months or so. My little MaxiPi is a NutriBerrie customer for life.

El Paso berries are the new favorite for Lulu, the sassy tiel! She must have some every day or she throws a fit. Between the classic flavor and El Paso Lulu is a very happy bird. You can smell the peppers when opening the bag!
