Product Description

Amazons, African greys, and other parrots seem to especially appreciate foods that challenge their tongues and beaks. Let your parrot savor the victory of pulling, twisting, and tearing Fruit Delight Avi-Cakes’ wholesome ingredients piece by piece as he discovers real pieces of cranberries, dates, mango, papaya, pineapple, and wholesome grains, as well as 50% pellets.

Fruit Delight Avi-Cakes is not your average, run-of-the-mill food. In fact, we collaborated with top avian veterinarians, nutritionists, and behavioral consultants to create a recipe that gives your bird the best of both worlds — taste and texture, and solid nutrition, too. Fruit Delight Avi-Cakes’ nutrition matches that of most pelleted diets, so it can be fed as a main meal. Fruit Delight Avi-Cakes has 50% pellets so it also makes the perfect “bridge” food to wean your bird off of seeds and onto pellets; many birds will eat pellets after eating Fruit Delight Avi-Cakes.

Our foods are Omega 3 & 6 balanced to promote a healthy immune system and improve skin and feather quality. They are naturally preserved and flavored, and made from non-GMO ingredients. All the seeds and grains in Avi-Cakes are hand-inspected for cleanliness and freshness. Our equipment has been specially designed for just making bird food. We make small batches of food to ensure the best quality possible. Each batch is laboratory tested. Finally, each Avi-Cake is hand-packed. It takes a lot of work to make a great product, but we believe the results are worth it!

Agents helpful, knowledgeable. No pressure, always courteous. The Fruit Delight AviCakes are Thor’s favorite! He would eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner, if it were up to him!

Our parrot loves Fruit Delight Avi-Cakes!

We have a 25-year old Congo African Grey who is a very picky eater and who usually won't even try anything new. But she loved Fruit Delight Avi-Cakes right from the get-go! No coaxing or trickery needed. Because she tends to drop food on the floor, I break each Avi-Cake square into four smaller pieces so she eats it without trying to hold it or carry it around. She gets two Avi-Cakes daily, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, along with her other food. If I am late putting out the Avi-Cake, she lets me know that she is waiting. She obviously enjoys them very much. Thanks, Lafeber Company, for making such a tasty and nutritious treat!

I have a very picky Indian Ringneck 3 yr old. I gave him 3 squares for a tryout and I thought he must have been starving. He ate those down and didn't dunk it in water like he does the pellets which turns to a lot of waste. I'm very pleased with these cakes. Will definitely be buying more. Thx for these cakes! I feel he is getting the nutrition he needs with his chop (most of it goes to waste) and his seeds( he only eats the safflower)
