Introducing the only fruit pellet made exclusively with the natural taste of fruit — no added sugar or fructose. Tropical Fruit Gourmet Pellets is a nutritionally balanced food for parakeets that will take your bird’s taste buds to the tropics! Real bits of papaya, mango, and pineapple bring new flavor sensations to the premium pellets originally developed by Dr. Lafeber Sr. in 1973, which were also the first ones specially formulated for pet birds. This gourmet version helps ensure that your bird gets all the nutrients needed for a full, energetic, and healthy life. Each pellet includes essential vitamins, chelated minerals, and balanced omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. Formulated for parakeets.

Offer a fresh serving of Tropical Fruit Gourmet Pellets to your budgie daily, placing in a clean food dish. The average serving portion for a parakeet is 1 ½ teaspoons, but adjust the serving so pellets are available all day. Include Lafeber’s Nutri-Berries as 20% of their total diet and fresh fruits and vegetables as about 20% of their total diet. Always provide plenty of clean, fresh water. For more foraging fun, “hide” some pellets in other places where your budgie enjoys hanging out. Be sure your parakeet finds these within the day!

My 3 parakeets only eat LaFeber products. They enjoy Gourmet Pellets, Avi-Cakes and Nutri-Berries. and I use the bird vitamins daily in their water dishes. My birds are healthy and happy. I know they're getting the best food available.

I adopted two budgies and was told they didn't like the expensive foods and was given a large container of big box store seed. I immediately ordered several Lafeber products and they can't seem to get enough. They are happy, chirpy boys and are at the food dish as soon as I place it in the cage after a refill. All my feathered kids love Lafeber.

My 2 parakeets enjoyed these tropical fruit pellets. They liked foraging for them mixed in with their other Lafeber’s bird food.

My vet recommended this brand and my birds love these pellets! Their feathers are so soft and pretty since I started giving them these. The difference is nuts. And my birds LOVE crunching on them!!

My 4 yr old grand parakeet is a very picky eater. She would only eat seed mix and green herbs and greens for her first 2 years (rejecting any other offerings; nutriberries, pellets, fruit, etc…) The unbalance in her diet started to affect her health. So, the vet suggested the Lefeber bird vitamins. I have also (recently) added lefeber tropical pellets to her diet. She has been doing well ever since…. .
