However, instead of grinding down the ingredients and re-forming them into a pellet, we leave our ingredients mostly intact. We hull our seeds and grains, add real pieces of fruit and coat each berrie with essential vitamins and minerals so your bird receives balanced nutrition in every bite he takes. A seed mix might be vitamin- and mineral-fortified, but these health benefits are lost as soon as the bird cracks the seed and the empty seed hulls are left in the food bowl. My little year old Princess of Wales loves these above all other Lafeber products. I get him out of his cage every morning and we head for the dining room table for his breakfast and to play with his toys. I put 4 different nutriberries and millet seed in a long, low bowl made like an ear of corn. No matter where I put these berries in the bowl, he will search these out and eat them first. Then he moves onto the other berries and seeds but he always starts with these berries.

My Cockatiel and Quaker parrot LOVE “Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries for Cockatiels”, but I wish they came in 3 lb and 20 lb packages like the “Classic Nutri-Berries”. Why are they not offered in these sizes?
