Pair love birds not laying eggs

Hi , i have a pair of lovebirds and they have been in the same cage for more then 3 months . After a while i introduced a nesting box and after they explored it i started to introduce nesting material . They built a nest and mostly they stay inside the box , but every time i checked there are no eggs in the box . What may be the cause please ?

Hi,

It really hasn’t been that long. It takes a lot of patience to breed bird, and you will find that there is a lot of waiting. All you can do is provide when they need and hope they settle down and lay eggs.
