Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries for Macaws combine whole seeds and grains with real pieces of pineapple, papaya, and mango, along with 26% pellets to give your bird balanced nutrition without sacrificing taste or texture. All of these wholesome ingredients are rolled together in a berry shape perfectly sized for your macaw or cockatoo to hold in his foot so he can relish each bite.

Instead of all the seeds and grains being ground down into a pelleted form, the ingredients in Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries are left mostly whole to give your bird the flavors and textures pellets lack. And, unlike vitamin- and mineral-fortified seed mixes that essentially lose their health benefits once the bird cracks open the seed, we hull our seeds and grains and then coat each berrie with essential vitamins and minerals. This ensures that your bird receives balanced nutrition in every bite he takes. We also use chelated minerals for better absorption, stabilized vitamins for better longevity, and we naturally preserve and flavor our foods.

Serve small Parrots (Senegals, Caiques, etc.) 10 berries at a time. Medium Parrots (African Greys, Amazons) 15 berries at a time. Large Parrots (Macaws, large Cockatoos) 20 berries at a time. For all birds, continue to keep a fresh supply of food and water available at all times. These are average amounts and will vary for each individual bird. Monitor your bird’s weight and adjust the amounts accordingly.
