I’m interested in feeding a canary the granules for finches,I have to mix with seeds for food transition or feed straight away the granules please?
If I use the transition method for how long and what amounts of seeds mixed with granules please?

Hi Colin,
It’s best to mix the granules with their regular food. Once you can tell they are eating them, you can gradually reduce the amount of their regular food and increase the granules, until they only have the granules. Generally this take a couple of weeks, but it can vary depending on the bird.
