Dear Brenda,
Are you a veterinarian yourself? How do you know so much! Thanks again for all of the valuable links and information and helping us to keep the birds as happy and healthy as possible.

Answer:

Hi Radha,

I am a veterinary technician or possibly called veterinary nurse where you are. I’ve been working with birds for a very long time, and have taught an Avian course for veterinary technicians. I’ve worked with nearly every captive parrot species, and started with parrots that came from the wild when that practice was still legal. I’ve also worked with other bird species and wildlife. Most of my advice comes from personal experience or learning from other experts in the field. I’m always glad to be able to help. Here at Lafeber Company we believe in offering free education to bird owners so their birds can live happy, healthy lives.

Thanks!

Brenda
