Please forward my thanks, and undoubtedly those of many bird owners, for the excellent (once again) presentation on the myths and facts about hormonal seasons.
As she mentions, social platforms are just that… tales of how to’s, encouragement of questionable husbandry to meet owners needs, ie, cuddling, stroking, sleeping, on shoulders, etc. Love the suggestion to get a mammal for the enjoyment of petting, kissing and devotion.
we all have to remember, the long life of an exotic and that some day you may no longer be their caretaker.
