A pegion having useless legs

I have adopted a pegion hit by a stray dog its legs are totally paralyzed and it is not able to move properly. It’s just sitting at one position its legs are positioned back side behind its feathers and it is not eating anything I have gave it jwar bajra seeds but it didn’t eat even a single seed it has intake just a bit of water and pooping so much the poop is of yellowish color and in liquid form.kindly suggest how to cure the pegion from this. Thankyou

Answer:

Hi,

It’s good that you are trying to help this bird, but it really needs the care of a vet. If there are any wildlife care centers, they will have a vet and can take the bird. He has suffered serious internal injuries most likely, and his chances are not good without veterinary care. I’m very sorry, but we can’t give out medical advice, and have no way of knowing what would help the bird just from a description.

Take care,

Brenda
