Seeing zebra finches

What age/weeks do zebra finches start to show whether there a boy or girl there beaks nearly normal colour ?

Hi,

They should have their adult colors between 2-4 months of age, sometimes as long as  months. They can breed as early as 4 months, but this should not be allowed. It is not safe for a hen that young to be laying eggs yet. You should wait until your birds are a year old before letting them breed. Never allow related birds to breed. Always separate siblings by male & female and never keep adult offspring with the parents.
