My bulbul died

I found it while it was nestling and took care of it with whatever knowledge I had it started to grow feathers and was very happy for 2 weeks and today’s suddenly she didn’t eat anything from the morning and couldn’t excrete and died in the evening.

Answer:

Hi,

Wild birds that are found, should never be kept as pets. They need specialized diets.  As for why the bird died – it may have been the diet, or there was another problem. In the future, please return a wild bird to the nest, or if that isn’t possible, find a wildlife center to take the bird and raise it to be released back to the wild.

Take care,

Brenda
