swift bird

when the primaries and tail feathers of swift bird molt and renew?

Answer:

Hi,

Swifts are not a bird that should be kept in captivity. They have a highly specialized diet and eat mostly while flying. Most likely this bird is malnourished and will not molt or grow feathers like it should. It needs to be take to a wildlife center, so it can be released to the wild.
