Hi Laefber, I’m only 8 years old.Here’s my question,I want to learn more about Parkeets because I want one as a pet .I wonder how do you tell a Female White Parakeets apart from a male!

You can tell the boys from girls with some colors of parakeets. The girls have white or brown skin around their nostrils and the boys have blue. But with the white, pale and pastel colors, you usually can’t tell because both the boys and girls will have pink/lavender skin around their nostrils. A blood test is necessary to find out. I know the white parakeets are pretty, but they are not always as healthy as some of the other colors. The regular or darker green or blue are usually healthier than the pastel colors.
