Different colour lovebirds

We are about to buy one blue and one green lovebird is this ok

Answer:

Hi,

You should only keep the same species of lovebirds together. Each species may also have a number of color mutations. So if both birds are peach faced lovebirds, or Fischer’s lovebirds, or Black Masked lovebirds then yes, they can be together even if they are different colors. But you should not have a blue peach faced with a green Fischer’s, for example.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
