Lovebird siblings

I took on two lovebird siblings found out one is male and one is female I do not want the eggs of the female to hatch. Is it ok to remove them she just had her first two eggs

Answer:

Hi,

Yes, the eggs need to be removed and discarded. Related birds should never be allowed to breed. It can result in genetically weak offspring which may die in the shell, hatch with deformities, or suffer life long health issues. Many inbred birds only live a few years or may die within the first year.
