My 4 month old budgie fell unconscious and died within 20 min in my hands

Hello, I had 6 budgies untill this morning and the youngest budgie (named Kiwi) died this morning. Kiwi had fallen unconscious 2-3 days ago and we took him out and comforted him and gave water. After that he was playful and looked good. However, today again he fell unconscious on the bottom of cage. I took him out and gave water but he didn’t move. He was warm for around 20 min and after that his body became cold and stiff and he died. I gave CPR and very light compression on his chest but he was gone.

I’m very sorry for your loss. There was something wrong with him unfortunately. Any time a bird shows signs of illness, you need to take it to the Vet as soon as possible. It’s not normal for a bird to collapse like yours was doing.
