What does it mean wen a female love bird goes down my top regularly

This is a hormonal behavior and should not be allowed. It mimics nesting or searching for a cavity to nest in. It can trigger egg laying, and that takes a toll on her health. When you handle her, you should avoid cuddling with her or stroking her body – only pet her on her head. Don’t let her get into small spaces or roam around exploring small places. This is nesting behavior and if she starts laying eggs, besides it being hard on her, she will get aggressive and territorial and start biting you.
