Huevos infértil de agapornis

Mis agapornis han hecho varias puestas y siempre no son viables

Answer:

Hi,

The birds may be infertile, or they are not mating properly. Some birds never make good breeders. If they have tried several times, it is best to take the nest box away and rest the pair for at least 6 months before you let them try again. Forming and laying eggs is very hard on the female, and if you let her lay clutch after clutch without a rest, she will end up dying. A good rest can help and they might have fertile eggs once they have been well rested.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,

Brenda
