Como adaptar a un Agaporni a su nueva casa


Hola, el 5 de Enero compre 2 agapornis , creo que son hembra y macho , pero no estoy segura. Quiero saber noooo se pueden adaptar a mi casa y que no me tengan miedo


Answer:

Hi,

All birds need time to settle into a new home. The best thing to do is place the cage where there is a wall behind them, and not right by a doorway. Birds do better if they can see people as they enter a room, rather than have someone enter from behind or right next to their cage. You can cover one or two sides of the cage with a light cover, if they seem really nervous at first. And some birds like their cage covered at night. Just be patient and give them time to get settled in. Talk to them but don’t try to reach for them. They are prey animals and when you reach for a bird, it feels like you are trying to catch it like a predator. Here are the links to our behavior and training pages.
