Parakeet death
Parakeet was 7 months old when a new kitten arrived. New kitten was fascinated with parakeet. Could the stress of having the cat present scared it to death?

Hi,
It would be very stressful to allow a kitten to watch the bird. The bird would fear for his life. As far as this being enough to kill it, I don’t know. More likely the kitten scratched it, and this would cause the bird to die. Cats have bacteria in their teeth and claws that is deadly to birds.
