Canaries and nutriberries

Hello i have a canary and im trying to get her to eat more. i think she would like the nutriberries, is it safe to give her nutriberries with her food if i crush them to be smaller for her to eat? Thank you!

Yes, a lot of people feed the Nutri-Berries to their Canaries & Finches, along with their regular pellets or granules. Dr. Stephanie Lamb, one of our webinar presenters, recommends these instead of offering loose seed mixes. You can crumble them and also leave some whole or in bigger pieces, to encourage foraging exercise. The Parakeet sizes would be best, although they could eat the seeds and ingredients in the Cockatiel and Conure sizes.
