Can parakeet/ lovebirds die of fright

I go to a childcare program who wants to get a bird. But I’m afraid that when we get the bird, some of the little kids will scream at it and it might have a heart attack. The childcare center is quite loud and I’m scared that the bird might because it’s too loud in there.

This is not going to be a good environment for a bird. It will be very stressful for any small bird like finches or canaries. Any parrot species – which includes parakeets – would either be really stressed out or would turn into a nuisance screamer because of the noise. Birds are not a good classroom pet.
