Grey headed peach faced male and red eyes female albino


I’m from Pakistan I had a only peach faced lovebird grey headed for like three days he was alone so I bought a red eyes albino female for him so it’s been 15 min he’s hitting the female when she is coming near him although both are very active please reply early as possible

Hi,

A Peach Faced and Grey Headed lovebird are two different species. Peachface come in many color mutations, but none have a grey head. If your other bird is a true albino, it would be all white with red eyes. More common is the lutino, which is all yellow with red eyes. As for putting the birds together, the way you have done it is not recommended. They should be in separate cages side by side while they get used to each other. When you do put them in the same cage, you need to watch them closely and separate them immediately if they fight. Lovebirds can kill each other quickly. And they may not like the bird we choose as a mate. Until they show signs of interest in each other, they should not be in the same cage. Also, unless you were given proof of sex by a blood test, you may not have a male and female. You cannot tell the males and females apart in lovebirds.
