Pigeon Pellets: A yes or a no?

Do pigeons need pellets? If not, how are you supposed to balance a diet without them?

Hi,

Pigeon keepers usually have a multi vitamin that goes in the water. Pigeons do need whole seed in their diet. But owners with pet pigeons will feed a pelleted diet for finches or canaries, along with a pigeon seed blend, chopped greens & veggies.
