Hi,

You can’t breed lovebirds with more than one male and one female in the cage. If you try to put 3 females and a male in a breeding situation, you will end up with a blood bath and dead birds – very likely with one female remaining because she killed the other birds. The peach faced are the most aggressive of the lovebirds, and the females are extremely territorial whether they have a mate or not. A breeding female is even more aggressive. A lovebird can kill another in a matter of seconds.

If these birds are at least 2 years old, then you could separate one male & female to another cage. If the male seems to be attached to any of the females, then put the male and that female in the breeding cage and see how they do. Do not give them a nest box yet. If they are not compatible as a breeding pair, the female might attack the male if there is a nest box. Give them time to bond, and if you observe them spending most of their time together, feeding each other, and finally mating, you can give them a nest box.
