Death

My parakeet, miles, just died today and my other birds seem very “ out of routine “ and they normally are really loud but today they are quiet. Miles sorta died suddenly but he’s always been inside and has nothing wrong with him and he was only 6 years old. We already buried him so I would like some tips on how to keep my birds “in routine” thank you- bella

I’m very sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, most parakeets do not have good genetics these days, and most only live 6-8 years. As for the rest of your birds, they will adjust – usually in a short time. You can offer treats and extra attention.
