A new Zebra Finch

I bought only one pair zebra finches, male and female. Do I need to put them in a separate cage for a few days at first? or I put them together in the same cage?

If the birds came from the same shop and were in the same cage, then they can go into the same cage at your house. If you do not plan to breed them, do not buy them a nest. They only need a nest for breeding. You can’t breed them if they are related. If you aren’t sure, you may need to ask where you bought them.
