Hi Debbie,
It can be very hard to tame parakeets if they share a cage. They will naturally choose another bird over a human as a companion. If these birds are young and have not been caged together for very long, you can split them up and try to tame them. If they are adults who have lived together for a while, it is best to leave the together and just enjoy watching them play with toys and interact with each other.
