Baby bird formula for cocatiels and conures

I read the inquiry from January 15, 2021 regarding using the cockatiel and conure formula for pigeons and doves, I was wondering if I can use it with sparrows and finches? I haven’t worked for a few years and I moved to an area where no nesting occurs. I recently started a job with a school district and am concerned about orphans. I’m a former vet tech in CA. Also, will the baby bird formula be available in the future?

Hi,

Yes, our Nutri-Start formula is good for wild birds like sparrows and finches. It will help them for at least as long as it takes to find a wildlife rehabber. But other wild birds that eat a lot of insects need a much more specialized diet.
