Is safe to give cardboard box and cat cardboard screeching board to chewing on and making pieces ?

Hi,

It can be OK, but it can also trigger hormonal behavior, especially in female birds. A lot of shredding can cause aggression in males if they decide they are making a nest. The same goes for females, but in addition it can trigger unwanted egg laying.
