Choosing a pet is a personal decision. If your main criteria is to have something easy, then I would suggest a stuffed animal. Pets are not easy, but they can be very rewarding. No matter what pet you decide on, you are making a big commitment. You will have costs such as food, toys, a cage or bed, and most importantly, Veterinary Care. A pet needs attention and a lot of care. A pet isn’t something you just get to have around. You are providing a home for a living being and it will need care & nurturing.
