Egg laying

Is it good for my female to constantly lay eggs? I put them in separate cages, but they are a bonded pair and I’m worried about how it will affect them.

Answer:

Hi,

Laying too many eggs will deplete a female and can eventually kill her. If they have a nest, take it away. Don’t let her nest in anything. If their cage can be move, then try different place in the room to disrupt them. Separating them may or may not help.
