Eggs

I’ve been feeding my quaker past two years scrambled eggs just read that’s bad for them is that true?he loves them! I’ve been feeding him nutri berries his whole life I’m told they are total nutrition he hates veggies and most fruit

Answer:

Hi,

It is not recommended to feed a non-breeding birds eggs on a daily basis, due to concerns over heart disease. But a small amount maybe 3 times a week is fine. It is important for your bird to get plenty of exercise. Yes, Nutri-Berries provide complete nutrition. We do recommend offering greens, veggies and fruits to provide some variety, which is a more natural diet. But nutritionally, your bird is fine eating just the Nutri-Berries.
