How long after mating does it take to start laying eggs

Hi Carl,

Mating does not always mean that eggs will follow. It is a good sign. But all you can do at this point is be patient and hope that the hen lays eggs soon. It takes a couple of days for each egg to form, so it she does lay eggs, there will be one day between each egg being laid.
