heart problem

Hello, I had a lovebird. I loved it very much. It was very healthy. But within two days, when it wanted to sit on a stick, it would suddenly fall to the ground or fall while flying. It was as if it had a seizure or fainted. Or if it wanted to be in one place or be active for a long time, its beak and legs would suddenly become cold and it would become lethargic. But its appetite was good and it ate well. The last time it wanted to fly, it fell in the air, had a stroke and died. We had taken it to two vets. They said it was healthy, but it probably had a problem with its right ventricle and the blood was not pumping well. I wanted to know your opinion. It is very important to me. Thank you.

Answer:

Hi,

I’m sorry but there is no way we can guess what happened. You took great care of your bird and took him to a Vet when he needed it. Sometimes a cause can’t be found. Possibly a necropsy would have shown the issue, but it sounds like there wasn’t anything that could help him.

Take care,

Brenda
