Is my female lovebirds big belly suppose to be a different colour

Hi is my female lovebird belly skin suppose to be yellow

Hi,

Not all birds form a brood patch, and according to Avian Vets, parrots do not form one. But some lovebird breeders have observed what they call a brood patch. However, it should not be yellow. I would take her to an avian Vet since she has spent so much time in a nest box. It could be a fat pad, or even a fatty tumor. She should not have a big belly.
