Male bird dosent sit on eggs

Why is male bird not going in nesting box with female lay on eggs as well as female

Hi Susan,

You didn’t mention the species so I can’t tell you if this is normal or not. With some species, the male and female take turns, other species the male sometimes joins the female in the box and other species the female does all the work. If you reply and let me know the species I can give you specific advice.
