Sudden change in behavior

I have a 3year old euresian collar neck female dove named Ju-Ju that I have had since she was a few days old. For the past week she has been unable to sit still, constantly picking at the feathers around her legs and under her wings. She isnt pulling them out, just jabbing herself as she hips around and tail flicks… what could be wrong with her?

This could be hormonal behavior. Possibly she is going to lay eggs. Or if she is outdoors or ever spends time outdoors, she may have some type of mite.
