Which nutriberries and how many for parrotlets?

Which type of nutri berries (and other lafeber food) is suitable for my parrotlets? The ones for parrots or other? And how many a day can I give them as a main meal?
Thank you!

Answer:

Hi Mariette,

Parrotlets have a small but relatively strong beak. Generally any of our diets labeled for parakeets, cockatiels, conures, small birds or small parrots will be the right size. Probably the parrot size would be the largest size they can handle and mainly those are just larger berries. You want them to eat all of each berry so only give them a few and once those are consumed you can offer more. As with any food, if you offer too much at one time, they will only eat their favorite bits and discard the rest. They should eat anywhere from 6-12 berries daily depending on individual activity and metabolism.
