Why is Fabulous suddenly so mean to Gorgeous?
My tiel Fabulous, who I previously thought was a male, is now sitting on a clutch of 4 eggs. Since laying her eggs she now chases my other tiel, Gorgeous, anytime Gorgeous steps onto the bottom of the cage. (Fabulous laid her eggs on the bottom of the cage). I have read that male and female cockatiels share incubation duties. Since Fabulous doesn’t want Gorgeous anywhere near the eggs am I safe in assuming that Gorgeous is a female also? I have never seen them mate.
