will a bird need a friend

Hi! I’m thinking of adopting a green cheeked conure, and was wondering if they are better living with another conure, or on their own. Are they happier living with another of their kind? Thanks!

Hi Madeline,

If you want the birds to be a tame pet, then do not get another bird to put in the same cage. When birds are caged together, they will tend to bond and not want to be tame anymore.
