Another bird ?

I have a Senegal and a maximilian pionus. Both are.over 20 yrs old. I was thinking about getting a third bird. My husband thinks that 3 birds would. Too much to handle due to my health. My birds make my day how much harder would it be to take care of one more

Answer:

Hi Linda,

You will both have to decide this together. You already care for two birds, so a third bird will take at least as much time to care for. It depends on what species you get and how much it likes to be handled. Some birds are more demanding than others. If you get another bird, you still have to spend as much time with the other two. Birds will get jealous so you will have that to deal with also.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,

Brenda
