Mold from leak

The ceiling in the living room of my rental apartment recently leaked during a big storm. It looks like it’s not the first time it leaked but not in the last 10 years. How worried should I be about mold and what it can do to my parrot?

Any mold that can harm your bird, can also harm you. You need to report this in writing to the management and ask them to fix it. As it is a health concern, be sure to point out their liability so they are more likely to repair it the right way.
