popcorn

Can parrots eat popcorn with hulls or should we only buy popcorn advertised as hull less to avoid hurting their crops?

Answer:

Hi Lisa,

Yes, adult parrots can eat popcorn. It is highly unlikely they would eat the hulls, but even if they do, they have a digestive system that can handle foods like that. We even make Popcorn Nutri-Berries, a healthy snack for pet birds!

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
