My baby cockatiel isn’t eating or excreting

My baby cockatiel is currently 3 weeks old and isn’t responding nor eating or excreting. All the avian vets within an hour radius are closed and I don’t know what to do. Can someone please advice me what to do.

Answer:

Hi Hina,

I’m sorry your baby is sick. Unfortunately there isn’t anything you can do other than keep him warm and quiet until you can get him to a Vet. When they stop eating like this, and nothing is coming out either, it could be the digestive system has shut down for some reason. Only a Vet can help him at this point. I hope you are able to get help.

Take care,

Brenda
